West Jet Weekend Adventure:



Sea kayaking on Vancouver Island’s coastline has never been so convenient! Imagine camping on a secluded beach under starlit skies for the weekend. Now you can fly directly into Comox on Friday night and enjoy a stress-free weekend experiencing the diverse wildlife of Georgia Strait and the spectacular views of the Beaufort mountain range.

First Day:

Our shuttle service will be waiting for you when your WestJet flight arrives in Comox on Friday evening. A short ten minute drive later and you will be at our waterfront location where your guide for the weekend will meet with you and go over the weekend's itinerary.
You'll launch from our private dock and be guided through the wildlife rich estuary towards Monte Cristos Restaurant, where your group will enjoy fine dining on a patio overlooking the river. Following dinner, a short walk or shuttle will take you to your choice of stay for the night.

Second Day:

Wake up refreshed in the beautiful Comox Valley. Enjoy a continental breakfast, then meet up with your guide once again. We'll start making our way towards Tree Island, located on the Northern end of Denman Island. On route we will pass the historical Royston wrecks and visit with dozens of seals. A delicious power lunch will be prepared at Goose Spit before making the crossing. Then it's off to the remote white sandy beaches of Tree Island to set up camp for the night. Explore, swim, or simply relax under the stars, while your guide prepares a savoury West Coast dinner.


Third Day:

The next morning you can stroll along the shore with a delicious freshly brewed organic coffee, take a refreshing dip in the ocean, or relax and sleep in while your guide prepares a scrumptious breakfast. After breakfast we'll leisurely head back towards Comox, experiencing the rich diversity of wildlife in the estuary. Back on land, you will have time to take more photographs, and exchange stories with other guests while an afternoon BBQ is prepared. A shuttle will take you back to the airport, and you can be home before dinner on Sunday with adventure stories abound!
